Problem: Final shot seems emotionally detatched but really the audience should feel sorry for the protagonist.
Decision: Have a final shot of the Protagonists eyes as they looked shocked at being kidnapped.
Problem: When standing the protagonist does not seem to accept his situation, he still seems to fight it.
Decision: Stan sits down helpless, he realises he means nothing to the Mob Manager and waits, praying that nothing will happen.
